As many of us lawn dads come to a close in our season we like to reflect back on all of the good things and the bad things that happened in the lawn and what we can do next year to make things even better. During this time we should also reflect back on ourselves. In a recent sermon the pastor was talking about reflection and how it’s beneficial to reflect back on the good and the bad. This helps us see things we may not have been happy with, and think of ways we would be able to make changes for the future.
How do you reflect? For me, I like to take a time of prayer at home in the morning, at a stoplight, while mowing the lawn… it doesn’t have to be a special place. But spending time doing this can go a long way in bettering ourselves and how we treat those around us. I challenge you to take some time for yourself to meditate and reflect this “off season.”
How do you reflect, post it below.
